EPISODE FEATURED GUEST: GEORGE ROY
George is a returning guest speaker for the podcast from Florida. He’s here to talk about a new target oriented training system; The LowZone. 10% of profits for low-zone will go to wounded vets.
IN THIS PODCAST EPISODE YOU WILL LEARN:
What is the low-zone?
It is the first target oriented system of skill development that has ever hit the market.
Basically every other form of instruction is based on technique-this is the first one that has an external focus to help you develop your skills.
The external focus, vs. internal focus, has proven to be superior.
External focus is a bit more user friendly, and you will see rapid improvement and higher rates of retention.
How does the low-zone ladder drill work?
The low-zone is the consumer product-it will come with two speed straps.
It’s a 20 foot strap that’s broken down into 5 different 4 foot sections.
The idea is that the player sets up two of these set parallel to one another so that the zones match up, then there are 5 different targets that range in distances.
This creates a purposeful practice so that players enjoy practicing their short game more.
Cross-hair is what you look at when shooting a gun, essentially, with both a horizontal and vertical plane.
When those two lines come together, it creates the center point.
George created a system that uses these two planes with different lengths and distances that helps to create a scoring system that is simple and understandable to all players.
